Delivery Hero Mobility & Delivery
Full TimeAthens, Greece
About the role
efood is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world’s pioneering local delivery platform, our mission is to deliver an amazing experience—fast, easy, and to your door. We operate in around 65 countries worldwide. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.
The Vendor Growth team sits within efood's commercial organisation and focuses on unlocking the promotional potential of our existing restaurant partner portfolio. As a Vendor Growth Executive , you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to restaurant partners, identifying opportunities to grow their presence on the platform through sponsored placements and promotional tools, and converting those conversations into agreed campaigns.
This is not a traditional telesales role. You will be expected to understand each partner's business context, use platform data to make a compelling case, and build the kind of trust that makes vendors come back month after month.
What you'll do
Manage a portfolio of existing restaurant partners, proactively identifying which vendors are ready to activate or expand their promotional budget on the platform.
Conduct outbound outreach via phone and digital channels, presenting sponsored placement products and tailored campaign proposals.
Understand each vendor's business performance and use platform data to build a relevant, ROI-driven case for participation.
Negotiate campaign terms, close bookings, and ensure accuracy in deal documentation and CRM records.
Follow up on open pipeline, converting "waiting answer" contacts into verified deals through structured re-engagement.
Collaborate with the Vendor Growth team to share best practices, flag market feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales approach.
Track your own KPIs (contacts, conversions, booked budget) and report progress in weekly team reviews.
Essential:
1–3 years of experience in a B2B sales, account management, or business development role — phone-based experience is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a structured environment.
Strong communicator: you can listen well, adapt your pitch to different audiences, and handle objections without losing your composure.
Comfort with numbers you understand budgets, ROI logic, and can explain why a €500 campaign makes commercial sense for a specific restaurant.
Organised and self-driven: you manage your own pipeline, follow up without being chased, and keep records clean.
Strong written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
Experience in a marketplace, food delivery, digital advertising, or SaaS environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Comfort reading dashboards or basic sales reports to prioritise your outreach.
BSc/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
