Question 1

How can I create a student account?

Accepted Answer

You can register for free by clicking 'Register' and selecting 'Student': an email and a password of at least 8 characters are all it takes. Right after, we ask your date of birth (you can also give it later); we ask your first and last name when they are needed, for example when you apply. Then you can complete your profile and connect your school.

Question 2

How do I connect my institution?

Accepted Answer

From your dashboard, go to 'University Integration' and click 'Connect University'. Search for your university or ITS, enter your institutional email, and verify your account. Once verified, your grades and projects can be synced automatically.

Question 3

Are my projects visible to everyone?

Accepted Answer

No, you have complete control over your profile visibility. You can choose to make your portfolio public or private. You can also select which projects to show and which to hide.

Question 4

How much does InTransparency cost for students?

Accepted Answer

InTransparency is free for students, the AI coach included: each of its answers uses the month's AI credits. Premium is optional and for adults only: it adds more AI credits and the full list of the skills you're missing, and it never changes how visible you are to companies.

Question 5

How can I find candidates?

Accepted Answer

You can use our advanced search to filter candidates by skills, university, graduation year, GPA, and more. Our evidence-based matching automatically suggests the most suitable candidates for your open positions.

Question 6

How much does it cost to contact a candidate?

Accepted Answer

There's no per-contact charge — reaching out to a candidate is part of your company plan, and the Pricing page lists what each plan includes and what it costs. What you are paying for is the record behind the contact: skills extracted from the candidate's real coursework, each one shown with the project it came from, so you read a Decision Pack before you write.

Question 7

How does evidence-based matching work?

Accepted Answer

Our algorithm analyzes students' projects, real skills, university grades, and preferences to calculate a compatibility score. The higher the score, the better the match with your needs.

Question 8

Can I post job listings?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can post job listings from your dashboard. Students can apply directly and you'll receive notifications for each new application.

Question 9

How can my university or school take part?

Accepted Answer

Universities, ITS academies and schools start on the Free plan, with one staff user, no expiry date and no card: the school's page with its students, company requests in one inbox, offers approved by the staff and a basic placement view. When they need the internship tools they move to Base or Plus, at the price for their kind of school published on the pricing page.

Question 10

What is the embeddable widget?

Accepted Answer

The embeddable widget — an optional add-on — integrates InTransparency directly into your careers portal with real-time matches. Talk to us for details.

Question 11

Is student data protected?

Accepted Answer

Students control what they publish. Your institution sees the students who named it — basic details, contact email, grades, projects and outcomes, and can export the list as CSV; companies outside it see only students who have turned their public profile on. We are aligned to the GDPR and never sell your data.

Question 12

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

By credit or debit card, through Stripe. A school can also pay its plan by bank transfer against an invoice: just write to us.

Question 13

Can I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel at any time from the Subscription section of your dashboard. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Question 14

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Not for schools and companies: if you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid. If you take Premium as a student, you have 14 days to withdraw, as the law provides: the Terms of Service say how it works.

Question 15

How do you protect my data?

Accepted Answer

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), with application-level encryption on the most sensitive fields. The primary database is in the EU. We are aligned to the GDPR and never sell your data to third parties.

Question 16

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings or by contacting support.

Question 17

Who can see my profile?

Accepted Answer

You have complete control. Your profile is either public or private — one switch, with no verified-companies-only level in between. While it's public, recruiters browsing or searching see you under your first name and surname initial until you apply, reply or are hired; email, phone, location and exact GPA have their own toggles.
