About the role
At Bosch, we shape the future by inventing high-quality technologies and services that spark enthusiasm and enrich people’s lives. Our promise to our associates is rock-solid: we grow together, we enjoy our work, and we inspire each other. Join in and feel the difference.
The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!
As part of your Master thesis, you will build an Agentic AI system within the Robert Bosch IT infrastructure.
You will connect this system to the Semiconductor Database (DB) and its DB description, as well as train the agent using it.
In addition, you will research how effectively the agent can translate natural language intent into deterministic database operations.
Furthermore, you will investigate the efficiency and accuracy of Agentic's autonomous reasoning loops compared to traditional human-in-the-loop data science workflows.
Last but not least, you will learn how the agent tests hypotheses against historical data by simulating interventions (e.g. in manufacturing processes), in order to make robust, data-driven decisions.
Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable
Experience and Knowledge: of Python, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, SQL, Git and MCP; experience in software development, as well as databases
Personality and Working Practice: you are an independent individual who is open to criticism
Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
Languages: very good in English and good in German
