Task Responsabilities As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible to: Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with the relevant aircraft technical manuals and instructions. Carry out routine tasks or checks and rectify defects on the flight line and in the hangar. Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards. Document and sign off the accomplished work. Requirements for the Position Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on aircraft mechanics Completed Cat. A basic training and/or the majority of all modules for a EASA AML B1 or B2 license Holding an EASA AML A, B1 and/or B2 license will be considered as an advantage Experience in B747-400, B747-8, or B777 aircraft maintenance will be considered as an advantage Ideally, between 1 and 3 years’ experience acquired in the field Be open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage Able to work in team as well as independently Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook Working conditions Permanent full-time position based in Luxembourg. Rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night), including weekends and public holidays. A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection. The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment. The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment. Occasional travel may be required. The position incumbent should possess a valid driving license. The category of the position depends on the experience of the selected candidate.
