Your tasks
Independently researches and analyses finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the department on highly complex key issues.
Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported.
Supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes solutions for risk mitigation.
Coordinates and prepares internal activities for regular maintenance of Fixed Assets procedures, training materials and processes description.
Ensures and performs accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities.
Discusses and aligns with the internal stakeholders the fixed assets discipline topics concerning daily business, respectively providing all relevant information to business and controlling for budgeting.
Participates and contributes with expertise into relevant projects of the department.
Ensures compliance and internal controls with regards to fixed assets processes (e.g. end-to-end process compliance for Fixed Assets processes).
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Finance
Relevant professional experience: >5 years
Very good Knowledge of Fixed Assets processes (put in function, write-off, sales, inventory count, master data maitenance, relevant internal controls etc),ensures the proper accounting of fixed assets and investments in accordance with Local legal requirements(GAAP), IFRS and Fiscal area.
Advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint).
Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects.
Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to team activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level.
Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level.
Very good Finance & Accounting knowledge and principles applied in Oil&Gas Industry.
English and German language skills (at least B2).
