For more information, please visit chaos.com . Role Overview The VP, ArchViz & M&E Strategy at Chaos owns the vertical strategy, portfolio direction, and business performance of the ArchViz and M&E product lines - spanning V-Ray, Corona, Vantage, and Anima. The role defines where Chaos competes, how the portfolio works together, and how product leadership translates into customer and commercial growth. Operating as a senior individual contributor and cross-functional leader, this role sets the strategic agenda for real-time visualisation, AI integration, and evolving creative workflows across professional markets, and aligns Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success around a clear and executable vertical strategy. This role requires a commercially sharp, product-literate leader with a strong track record of translating portfolio strategy into measurable business outcomes in technically sophisticated software environments. Main Responsibilities ● Define the long-term strategy for the ArchViz and M&E verticals, including target customer segments, competitive positioning, growth priorities, and investment choices across V-Ray, Corona, Vantage, and Anima. ● Own the portfolio strategy, determining where Chaos should invest, integrate, simplify, partner, or stop investing, and translate that into clear product priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. ● Own Chaos's real-time visualisation strategy with Vantage as a core pillar, defining how Chaos competes across offline and real-time workflows and how customers move seamlessly between creation, rendering, exploration, review, and presentation. ● Define how AI changes professional visualisation and content creation - identifying opportunities across generative AI, intelligent automation, scene understanding, materials, image enhancement, and workflow acceleration - ensuring AI capabilities improve speed and usability without sacrificing the quality and control professional customers expect. ● Own the business performance of the ArchViz and M&E verticals in partnership with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, driving revenue and ARR growth, adoption and engagement, retention, customer acquisition, cross-product suite adoption, and pricing and monetisation strategy. ● Develop a deep understanding of the needs of visualisation artists, studios, architecture and design firms, VFX and animation teams, and other professional creators: spending meaningful time with customers, partners, and industry leaders to identify opportunities for more integrated and differentiated experiences. ● Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across rendering, real-time visualisation, AI, and professional creative software, translating competitive insight into clear strategic action and identifying opportunities for partnerships, integrations, or acquisitions. ● Align Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and executive leadership around a clear ArchViz and M&E strategy: creating clarity, making difficult trade-offs, and holding teams accountable for customer and business outcomes. ● Establish a strong operating rhythm across planning, product reviews, roadmap decisions, and business performance tracking. ● Develop clear business cases for major investments and allocate resources toward the highest-value opportunities. Required Experience ● Demonstrable experience in product management, business strategy, or general management, with a demonstrated track record of leading multiple products or a product portfolio. ● Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable revenue and customer growth in a subscription software or SaaS environment. ● Experience with pricing, packaging, monetisation, and subscription software business models. ● Experience working with technically sophisticated products and engineering teams, with the ability to engage credibly on technical trade-offs. ● Experience in 3D, rendering, ArchViz, VFX, animation, real-time visualisation, games technology, CAD/BIM, AI, or professional creative software is highly valued. ● Direct experience with V-Ray, Corona, Vantage, or Anima is an advantage though not required. Required Skills ● Holds a clear and well-reasoned point of view on where markets are heading and how product portfolios should be positioned to capture that opportunity, and communicates it with conviction to executive and cross-functional audiences. ● Translates complex market, customer, and competitive signals into portfolio decisions and product priorities with commercial rigour and disciplined trade-offs. ● Influences and aligns senior cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance) without direct authority, creating clarity and momentum around a shared strategy. ● Builds a deep understanding of professional creative workflows and customer needs through direct engagement, and uses that understanding to identify differentiated product opportunities. ● Analyses business performance data across revenue, retention, adoption, and market share, and uses those insights to allocate resources and adjust strategy. ● Communicates with clarity and credibility at executive level: able to present strategic recommendations, business cases, and performance reviews to the CPO and leadership team. — Published by Chaos.
