Logistic Buyer

SCOPE AND PURPOSE To ensure proper realization of our vision he/she will: Support design and deployment of logistic sourcing strategy together with commodity manager in the area of road/ocean transportation for Europe, Support tender processes for long term business awarding and support day to day expedite requirements from Poland and Czech plants, Scout both local and international market in order to deploy new supply base Interact with internal clients in order to understand and satisfy business needs Manage and update data management systems/price list Coordinate contract milestones, technical specs, documentation, deliverables Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. Ensure adequate documentation storing and tracking Ensure compliance with Brembo procedures Manage supply chain risk. Manage the supply base and manage critical supplier performance Lead/support RFQ/RFI and tenders Our requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management or other relevant fields Experience of purchasing on international level in contract and risk management At least 5 years relevant experience Analytically minded Excellent computer skills Critical thinking and negotiation skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Occasional domestic and/or international travel Fluent in English, Italian will be considered a plus — Published by Brembo.
